JayR and Kyla's, "Back in time" has stayed on the radio waves and music channels for months now. It hit #1 all over the Philippines in February and is still standing #3 on the Myx Pinoy countdown today. It is undeniable that JayR and Kyla have a musical chemistry. They are currently working on a new track for all the JayR and Kyla fans which will be released in JayR's peace and inspirational album under Universal Records Philippines. The album will be released this year so make sure to look out for it.

His latest album "Soul In Love" is officially the #1 selling album in 2008 in the Philippines. When it released in the first quarter, it stood heavily planted in the number one spot for two months and stayed in charts for the rest of the year. JayR was awarded a Platinum record for the album in his regular noon time show on GMA called SOP.

Till this day in 2009 "Soul In Love" is still generating record sales. The #1 online CD distribution website CDBABY.COM quotes "Haven't heard an album so smooth and soulful in a while... Even though they are cover versions... this boy does them with so much class... a must have for old school listeners as well as the young lovers of soul - in love..."
